Merrell Adventure Weekend The weekend is built for Adventure Racers, Multisporters, Runners,
Mountain Bikers and paddlers......to talk about Navigation, Team
dynamics/formation, Nutrition, Gear, Training, Race Prep, Strategy but
mostly to GET OUTSIDE! The weekend is filled with fun
competitive/social races, talks and a opportunity to meet like minded
people and tap into the experience of the Merrell Adventure Addicts.Date: 9 - 11 March 2012 Registration from 16h00 to 18h00 on the 9th March 2012 Venue: Felix Unite - Round the Bend camp - Breede River, Swellendam (2hrs from CTN). Download directions from here. Cost: R1,000 per person. Includes accommodation (chalets), all meals from Friday evening until Sunday lunch, talks, races, socialising and getting OUTSIDE. Equipment needed: Trail running shoes, backpack to carry shoes, water containers, MTB and MTB gear (no helmet, no ride), Headtorch, Compass (if you don't have one please let organisers know and one will be supplied). Camp program will include: Talks about Navigation, Team dynamics / formation, Nutrition, Gear, Training, Race prep, Strategy Races to include a basic navigation race and two Sprint AR's. |
